This may seem like a simple idea yet you may be surprised at the number of people who do not take a lunch with them when they go to work. Many simply rely on the workplace cafeteria or go out for a fast food meal when it comes time for lunch. This can lead to a meal that is not healthy or conducive to weight loss which is something you definitely do not want to do on a daily basis. When you have direct control of what you eat while away from home, you have total control over the choices. Taking a healthy lunch with you to work will take away the need to ever go out and get a burger, fries, and a soda on your break. Your packed lunch will be five times healthier and most likely cost a lot less too! Dinner leftovers in travel containers make great "to go" lunches. You can find a 5-pack of small plastic containers for around $3 at your supermarket, and if you take care and wash regularly after using them, they will last for a long time. If you have access to a microwave at work, there are a number of healthy frozen meals you should check out such as Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers.
