Its extremely vital you eat an appropriate portion size for each meal and avoid overeating at all costs. Even if you prepare a healthy meal, if you have three plate sized servings thats just way too much food for one sitting. Rule of thumb, your meal should be about the size of your fist on your plate. A little more is perfectly fine, just dont get carried away. One helpful tip you should make a habit of as soon as possible is to drink a 2-3 glasses of water during every meal. Not only does water have 0 calories, but it aides in digestion, is healthy for you body and helps you feel more full.
